30-day Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are not completely satisfied with our services within the first thirty (30) days of your website becoming publically accessible (your “Online Date”), you will be given a full refund of your web design and setup fees, and you will not be charged for hosting, maintenance, and support.
Refunds will be issued to the original credit card provided at the time of purchase, or by cheque. If your account has been cancelled by us due to a breach of the terms and conditions on your part, you will not be eligible for a refund. All cancellations must be received in writing within thirty (30) days of your Online Date; regular mail, e-mail and fax notifications are acceptable. Some additional or promotional services are non-refundable (see Non-refundable Services)
Non-refundable Services: Some additional or promotional services cannot be refunded if provided. In the event of a refund, non-refundable services will be billed to the client at the cost incurred by Visible Optometry. Non-refundable services are 1) paid advertising (Google, Facebook, etc.), 2) paid directory placements, and 3) any additional services requested and delivered during the refund period that are not included in our standard package.
Refund notes: In the case of a refund, Visible Optometry retains copyright of all web design elements including graphics, layout, HTML code, videos, sounds, and produced logos and copy. Visible Optometry retains ownership of any domain names registered in connection with the refunded account, which may be transferred to yourself or another party for a nominal transferral fee of $50 per domain.
Domain Name Policy
You Control Your Domain Name
Domain names (for example “www.mywebsite.ca”) are typically registered and controlled by the web design company. Clients may lose access to their domain names if the design company closes business or refuses to co-operate with a client. To protect our clients, Visible Optometry gives clients the legal right to control and manage their own domains names.
Payment Schedules and Options
- Payments can be made to Visible Optometry by cheque or by credit card (online or by phone).
- Full payment for website design and setup is due upon signing the Client Contract prior to the detailed design phase. Full refund is available for 30 days (see 30-day Satisfaction Guarantee).
- Full monthly payment is due at the end of every monthly billing cycle.
